Legislative Issues
During my nine years working with legislators and monitoring legislation,
I understand that West Virginia needs to work on many diverse issues to resolve budgetary problems and provide services to
its citizens.
Despite the multitude of problems and concerns that face our state, the following issues would be a
priority during my first two years, if elected to the WV House of Delegates.
- Kevin L. Maynus will support an increase in the states minimum wage in order to help West Virginia families.
- Kevin L. Maynus will fight to improve healthcare for all West Virginia citizens.
- Kevin L. Maynus will work to ensure that West Virginia coal miners has adequate safety laws and regulations.
- Kevin L. Maynus believes that every child deserves a good education. He will fight to improve the teacher student
ratio.
- Kevin L. Maynus will fight to stop the unnecessary spending of tax payers’ money.
- Kevin L. Maynus believes that by changing the West Virginia tax
structure, we will attract more businesses, therefore increasing employment within the state.
- Kevin L. Maynus supports the tourism industry in West Virginia and believes the tourism industry is one of the largest sources
of economic development for the state of West Virginia. Kevin L. Maynus pledges his support to ensure tourism continues
to expand and remains as a viable means of economic development for all West Virginia Citizen’s.
